Please find attached the SIs for the Babbacombe race which is to be held on the 20th July. For anyone who isn't already aware, this race starts at 21 buoy and finishes at Babbacombe via the Orestone. I am expecting New Dawn to do start boat so there shouldn't be a need for one of the competitors to do the start. Start time is 10:00.
Also on the 20th is the cruise to Brixham for anyone who doesn't want to take part in the race. As usual the aim will be to anchor at Babbacombe for lunch with, hopefully, the added bonus of swearing at inconsiderate yachts who are racing through the anchorage. Dinner will be at BYC with a low key pontoon party (no gin provided!) run out of New Dawn from 6. We are expected at BYC at 7:30 for 8:00 and the menu (£14.75 for two courses) is attached. I think it looks rather good!
It goes without saying that anyone doing the Babbacombe race is welcome to push on to Brixham and join the cruise for dinner.
It would be helpful if anyone going to Brixham for the night could let me know which boats and menu choices by Wednesday night as this makes life easier for BYC.
We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible,
Michael and Alison

I have been asked to provide a simple set of instructions for those who haven't been race officers before.
Those who have done it all before can look at the attached and tell me what I have left out or got wrong! Hope this is helpful. I am also attaching the full sailing instructions for the Godfrey Cup for reference.
